Should I register for VAT?
Answer: Firstly you may not have a choice. If you are generating taxable supplies in excess of £64,000 per annum you do need to register for VAT. To find out more about VAT registration click here. If your turnover is below the threshold there could be an advantage to voluntarily register for VAT particularly if your customers are mainly VAT registered businesses.
